Negi picked up the medalion "Huh?" He stared at it for a minute, then flipped it over, looking at the name engraved on the back "Well, least she didn't see this" he said, sighing, putting it in his pocket.

Chi had dropped into a dangerous fever again and Carmen had called an ambulance, the sirens whining across the campus as it reach the dorms.

Negi had his nose in the book, but looked up when he heard the siren "Dammit not again" He ran out of his house to check if his fears were acurate.

"Yeah, she said she wasn't feeling well so we took her home and she was burning up when she got back," Carmen said.

"Not again..." He muttered, then jumped into the ambulance aswell, and when the doc tried to get him out "HEY! Shut it." He warned with a look that would scare the pants off an army general" He just felt like he needed to go with her

"Fine you can ride along," The paramedic said, closing the doors and putting an ice blanket on Chi to cool her down as the ambulance started to drive away.

Negi looked at Chi "..." he tried out one of the spells he learned, he gently put his hand on her forehead, it was a simple spell that was meant to getting rid of the common cold, basicaly killing the temperature. In this kind of case it would have been inaffective, but thanks to Negi's power, it was a simple spell on steroids.

It didn't help, in fact it looked like she just got worse. "Hey hey! What are you doing!" the paramedic shouted, pulling Negi out of the way. "Ride along, don't do anything," He growled, trying another ice blanket.

When the ambulance pulled into the nearest hospital. Chi was rushed into critical care, Negi held back at the door. "Hospital policy," She said.

"That much I know" he said, then put his finger to her forehead "But don't give half of a shit" he said, and BANG. There was sudden jolt of electricity, not enough to kill, but enough to knock her out. He ran after the paramedics, though when they entered the emergency room he stayed outside, he knew that he'd get in the way..then again, there wasnt anything any normal doctor was gonna be able to do

And that inability to do anything was why Lucian suddenly came running past him into the emergency room, leaving his little sister/assitant at the door as the rest of the doctors and staff were forced out. "Yo," Alex said to Negi.
