"Heh..." Negi grinned, holding up his hand. First there was a blob of water, then ot got covered in earth, but oddly they didn't mix, then it got covered by fire, but the water and earth and fire still didn't mix, then a spark started jumping all around that ball of jumbeled elements, negi then clenched his fist, a bright light shining out through, the openings between his fingers, and once it faded, he opened his hand, and there it was, a pure gold ball, right in his hand.

Chi's jaw dropped open. She stared at the ball, then back at him, then at the ball again. "How....you....that?....ugh" She hung her head. "Why do I bother getting confused anymore..." She muttered.

Negi just laughed "Hah, well, like I said, this is something that cant be tought, you gotta find that out for youreself" he said "Its a simple process of mixing the four elements, fire, water, earth and energy...but no matter who I taught they could never get it done, all they got was a boiling electrical mud puddle" he said "Its something you youreself have to learn by instinct" he said "Same with making diamonds"
