Chi went back to her apartment and sat on the bed, hugging her pillow. She pouted, staring at the floor.

Chi sighed, shaking her head. She eventually stood up, but her door was locked. "That's odd," She muttered, trying her little trick and tugging on the door again. Still nothing. She growled a little and tried to bust the door open, but nothing happened. She wasn't exactly in the mood for whatever Carmen and Miau were playing so she went over to the window, but that too had been locked and was so that she couldn't get it open.
Chi started to worry now. She went for her phone when it burst into fire. She jumped back, backing into a girl who had managed to get into her room. "Who are you!" Chi asked, taking a few steps back. "I'm Pyro," She said, her body ablaze. Cute nick name, but it wasn't helping Chi. "What do you want?" Chi asked. "It's odd, how when threatened you humans always ask the same questions," She said, shooting a ball of fire at Chi. As if on instinct Chi knocked the fire away, herself unharmed but her room now on fire. She quickly moved to put it out but the girl who called herself Pyro was suddenly in front of her. "Don't get distracted," She said, throwing Chi across the bed room.
Chi hit the wall with a small grunt. Sliding to the floor she tried to clear her head enough to conjour up some water to put out the fire that was quickly spreading, but a solid kick knocked Chi to the ground. Everything went black for a moment, and the second she came to a spike of ice shot out of the ground, striking at the girl. It barely nicked her, but was enough to through her off guard for a second. Chi scrambled to her feet and the room started to freeze over to try and freeze the girl, but the fire had spread Chi was so concentrated on freezing the woman that she forgot to keep the smoke from her lungs, and before the spell was half complete, she fell unconscious.

Carmen was banging on the door to Chi's room. She smelt smoke. "Chi? Chi? Open the door!" She shouted, rattling it. The door still wouldn't budge, but Carmen refused to let the door win. She kicked her foot through it. The door still didn't open but she made a big enough hole in it to bust through. When she got in the room was perfectly fine. Chi lay unconscious on the found, a bit bruised up and a few burns on her arms and side that had gone through her chest. "Oh shit," She muttered, immediately starting to try and heal Chi.
Ching buzzed into Negi's house. The young pixie had been hanging in the gardens of the school until she had sensed that the Mage had returned, so she came back looking for him. She buzzed in circles and fluttered down to sleeping Negi, pulling his eyes open. "Are you deaaaad," She called.

"Argufagble." Negi muttered, and swatted Ching away like she was just an annoying fly. He sat up, yawning, streching "Bah...shitty dream..." he muttered to himself. He had actualy had a nightmare, though the only vaguely rememberd it, it was something about fire, a small closed space, and Chi. Negi rubbed his eyes "What do you want...Or actualy, why the hell are you still around here?" He asked "Couldn't you fly away and find some other mage to bother?" He asked, standing up from the couch, streching "Next time I'll have to shut the windows..." he muttered, turning on the TV, watching Lazily. Ignoring Ching

"Oh good, so your not dead," she said, sitting on his shoulder. "Cause they sent an assassin after your not so high school girl friend. I thought they'd send one after you too," She said.

"Huh, again with the assassins, just like old times" He said, not taking much intrest in it, just flipping through the channels 'Tick tick tick tickt tick tick tick tick tick KABOOM!!!!' something blew up in Negi's head, and he flipped out "WAAAAIT A MINTUE!!" He grabbed Ching in both hands, nearly crushing her "SAY WHAT??? ASSASSIN?? CHI??? THERE WAS AN ASSASSIN SENT AFTER HER?!?!" He asked/yelled, he then let go of her and just bolted out of the house, running towards Chi's apartment.

"Come on," Carmen muttered. The burns were starting to heal up, but those were easy, though it took a lot of energy. Bruises were harder, they had internal bleeding, and for what ever reason she was unconscious was going to be the hardest.

Negi came running up the stairs of her apartment building, knocking people over on his way. He skid to a stop at her door, running in, he noticed Carmen and Chi "Dammit this is one of the tmes I really wish I was wrong" He said, panting "Outta me way Reddie" He said, grabing her shoulder and shoving her away, he quickly put his hands on her chest, a bright green glow appearing below his hands, her burns and bruises started healing incredibly quick. Negi didn't stop studying healing magic in the years he was away, and after those four years, he was a master at healing spells. "Shit her lungs are full of smoke" He mutterd, putting his fingers to her lips, and putting his hand on the left side of her chest, as if to touch one of the lungs. The wind breeze picked up a bit, and it managed to clear all the ash particles out of her lungs. It was a kinda painful process, but she was unconcious anyway.

Chi coughed as the smoke cleared her lungs. She took a few choked breaths before again coughing and slowly starting to take normal breaths. Her eyes blinked open, but her head was killing her, and the light hurt, so she closed them again and lulled her head to the side. "Ughn..." She moaned, unable to get a real word out.

Negi was still panting slightly, lotsa running and then imidiet high concentration requiering healing magic, isisn't a good thing "Chi...you're alright..." He couldn't help it, he just pulled her up and hugged her tightly

Chi kept her eyes shut, her head was spinning and her heart still racing. She had been scared, but she didn't want to admit it, and she didn't want to cry because of her fear.
Carmen stood up, sniffing the air. "Hey, Miau, I still smell her, come on," Carmen said and jumped out the window, Miau on her tail.

Negi kept hugging her tightly, though when he saw Carmen and Miau run out, he gently let go of Chi "Sorry, I have to go with them" he said, and then gently touched the medalion, it shined for a second "Stay safe" he said, and jumped out the window, running after Carmen and Miau

Chi lightly touched the medallion on her chest. It had actually melted to her skin in the heat of the fire. It didn't hurt, didn't bother her, was just a little odd. She didn't question anything at the moment, she just curled up where she was.
Miau looked over her shoulder at Negi when she saw him following. "I smell blood," Carmen said, speeding up and racing towards the back ally near the shoping mall. When she slowed to a stop she notice the girl, Alex, standing over the dead body of another young woman,

Negi followed them, running as fast as he could, once he saw the girl and the dead woman, his nightmare flashed in his head again.

A woman was standing over a young girls body, the suroundings were nthing but fire, both of them up in flames, though as where the girl on the floor looked ON fire, the woman that was standing looked like she WAS, and even though she was shinning brightly with the hot red flame, he could still make out how she looked...

Negi gritted his teeth, and before he even had a chance to slow down, he just outstreched both his arms, ice covered his arms and shot out onto the ground, the ice traveled to the alley, covering the walls and the ground in a thick layer of -2000 degrees ice, and giant razor sharp spikes of ice shooting out at the girl
