"Miau's dad wanted to talk to you about something," She said, though right as the words left her mouth, an explosion hit the side of the room from the outside, erupting from the wall in a fiery wave, engulfing the front entrance. Chi was blown back against the door frame, her clothes on fire and her skin charred.

"Shit what the hell???" Negi yelled, he had managed to stay untouched becouse of his magical barrier he managed to quickly put up "Wait, Shit! Chi!" he yelled, running over to her, quickly putting out her clothes "You alright?" he asked, picking her up off the ground and carrying her out of the apartment, figuring it wasnt good to stay there.

"Owwww," She moaned, no matter how she shifted not managing to be able to keep deep burns from being touched. The explosion was the same as the one from the other day, but being as how she was still alive, she obviously wasn't the one being aimed at. above the blast mark was the same message in the odd language, left to be decoded.

Negi didn't care for the message, all he cared for was Chi right now "God dammit now I really wish I knew some healing spells" he said under his breath

One of the 'goons' opened the door and gave Negi one hell of a confused look. Carmen passed out of the kitchen and pailed a little. "Shit, what happened?" She asked, pulling them inside.

"I wanted to tell you the court was after you, but it seems with this exsplosion you already know," He said. Carmen placed her hands on Chi's bare chest, and closed her eyes, a small glow emmiting from her.
