Negi gave the tests to Carly, she had a copy of the test with all the correct answers, so she was incharge of grading the papers.
"Well, Time for the magic tasks" He said, lists appearing on every desk "Just do the spells in order, and dont worry if Im not watching, I'll how how well you did or how much you sucked at it." Along with the list the pesentage of the grade was presented. 19 of the spells on that sheat of paper had only a 0.5% or 1% impact on the overal grade. Though the 20th spell, the little spehere thing that Negi had thought them in class, it counted for 35% of the overall grade.

Chi looked at the list. Most of spells she pulled off with no problem, but the last one. She took a deep breath. She had been right when she assumed he'd put a lot of weight on something that seemed so insignificance. She had spent a lot of time practicing with Miau. She got to it and closed her eyes, trying to concentrate. She had never pulled it off completely. She found she didn't have to concentrate as hard any more, but for this once she did. After several minutes she got the effects she want. The small ball off light appeared in her hand.

Negi snapped his attention to Chi "..." Once the sphere spread, creating the shield, Negi threw a pencil at her. Depending on the distance from where it would hit the barrier, she would ether fail, pass, or get half points for that spell.

The shield extended about two feet from here, the farthest she could make it go, but the second the thing bounced off she yawned. "Hee" She fell asleep on her desk, wasting all that energy.

Negi sighed, but smiled. He waited about ten more minutes "Times up. Exams over." he said.

The rest of the class had pulled it off as well, with variations off different lengths, all partnered.

Negi sighed "Well, go home and get some rest, the results will be in tomorrow" he said. Though once everyone left the class. Negi carefully picked up the Sleeping Chi, and carried her to her dorm, though he set her on the nearby bench, and knocked on the door, and after that, dissapeared from sight.

Carly stayed in the class room, grading the test. "Wow," She murmured. Not many were doing too well on the written part.
Carmen opened the door looking around. "Ehhh?" She muttered, grabbing Chi. "That's weird."

Negi came back into the classroom "Oi, Carly, hows the grading going?" he asked, standing next to her, looking at the papers.

She cringed. "Wow, umm...not to well. Are you sure it wasn't to hard?" She asked, looking up at him, accidentally skipping over Chi's test.

Negi sweat dropped "Sorry, but those the breaks" he said "Hey!" he suddenly yelled. "You skipped over one" he said, putting the test infront of her "Geez, pay more attention will ya?" He asked

"Oh, sorry sorry," She said. "Just something more interesting next to me," She muttered, checking the test in front of her. "hmm, this ones doing pretty good so far."

"Oh?"he asked, looking at the paper 'Wait...this is Chi's' "Hmmh...well, the start was easy...its the second half taht really matters."
