As they passed the street where Chi had been she bent down and picked up the ripped pieces of her test. "you've come a long way. I'm proud of you," She muttered, not having read it the first time.

"I can fix it," She said, holding the pieces together. The edges melted together, and fixed, good as new. "See," She said, showing to him.

Chi touched her chest where she still had the biggest of the burns was, the only one that hadn't healed completely. "That was just an accident. I'm in more danger hanging out with Miau," She said.

Chi thought about it, but after what he had just done for her, she wasn't going to let him pull the cold and heartless thing again. She didn't like her friends doing that. "What's the likelihood of two of those in a row," She shrugged.
