"Come on!" She said speeding up. She slid to a stop in front of a seemingly normal appartment. Through the window Chi could be seen. She was floating as if on a bed of air, on her back seemingly asleep. "The hell?" Carmen asked.

"Magic..." He muttered, and ran into the apartment, running up to the floor whre Chi was, and breaking down the door by just smashing into it with his shoulder.

Carly was leaning on the wall on the other side of the door. "I wondered when you'd figure it out, though, if it weren't for the help of the Ting brat and that cat you probably would've never known," She said.

Negi growled "I've got only one thing to say to you're warning..." he growled, and then pulled out his right hand, aiming it right at her, he was holding gripping the glove with his left hand "Blow me." He said, and pulled the glove off, and that same second, a massive stream of fire shot at Carly, its heat impossible to measure, it went right through anything it touched, creating a large, melting hole in the building.

Carly was barely able to dodge by rolling to the side. The blast went through the wall, and only missed Chi on the other side by an inch. "Careful with your aim," Carly said, standing up again.

Negi pulled the glove over his hand to stop it "Shut it." he said, pulling it off again, this time a huge array of ice spikes going right at Carly.

Carly dodged, again just barely. She ducked around the corner, getting into the other room, the one with Chi in it.
