As the skies turned a dark indigo, the lights in the giant hotel lit up wildly, like every other building in Lixue Xi. Sakora sat down silently in her hotel suite, staring at her image in the mirror while brushing her long violet hair. The room was elegant and classy as her black red flowered kimono and white sundress hung from the canopy part of her bed. She would decide to go to bed early tonight, there were no calls or signs for her to work or leave where she was. Glancing at herself fully, Sakora realized she was wearing her night gown already. She traced the japanese style symbols and patterns where the gown stopped at her knees, with her finger tips absent mindedly, the silking fabric felt smooth under her touch. The patterns reminded her of the main house, where her home had symbols like yin and yang, japanese writtings and many other symbols.
Sakora set the brush down with a sigh and stood from her seat. She walked over to the window to open the drapes so she could see the outside world, mostly the sky. Now that she was closer, something faint, like some manner of demonic aura, stirred in Sakora's senses. She wasn't sure what it was, but it was a good distance off, that was why she couldn't sense it where she was before. An instinctive feeling told her to be on the alert, it almost made her want to stay up a little while longer to see what would happen.
A few hours passed, Sakora analyzed the aura, it appeared to have vanished an hour ago. She almost thought that maybe the demon just left and had no interest here, but something still told her to still be alert. The aura suddenly appeared once more, this time, it was inside the hotel where Sakora was. She narrowed her eyes before swiftly grabbing her bow and arrow. The demon appeared to be searching for something. Sakora was changed into a white short kimono, with small shorts underneath and a dark purple belt tied in a knot around below her rib cage and above her waste. Silently, she exited the room as the hotel went through a black out, the demon must've caused all the lights and electricity to shut off.
As she made her way swiftly down the hall, the scent of dirt and must filled the air. The demon was just coming out of a room when Sakora caught glimpse of it, she quickly darted behind a dresser in the hallway, the demon had it's back to her but she didn't want to stand there. As she watched it carefully, she pulled out her bow and an arrow from around her back.

Barituni stood outside the large hotel looking up at it, hands on her hips. "Rich bastards that can afford this place," She muttered to herself, letting out a long irritated huff. The wind was picking up, whipping her long ebony hair around and making the Kimono that sat loosely on her frame fly around her in intricate, twisting dances. It was such a nice night. She really just wanted to hit a bar and get so drunk she couldn't stand straight and take home to first unsuspecting girl she could get her hands on, but damn if every time she got that feeling some annoying little man with a problem he needed someone else to solve stumbled up to her Dispatch and begged to have some great 'enemy' taken out.
She crossed her arms and hung her head. "Well...it's a living," She muttered to herself, as if that covered it. "Alright," She said, looking over to the newbie who stood at her side. It was two days ago she found the poor thing stumbling the forests outside Hunan covered in blood, terrified out of her mind. She was crying though no tears were falling down her cheeks. Normally Barituni would've taken 'mercy' on her and put her out of her misery, but the little thing was just so damn cute underneath that blood she couldn't do it. She took her with her instead, and got her registered as a legal assassin.
"Shiav, when I cut the power, you go in, you got 30 seconds once the power goes out, you hear me?" She asked, looking down at the fox. Her eyes were latched forward with a cold determinance. "Yes Ma'am," She said softly, her voice barely a whisper above the roar of the city sounds. It was almost depressing. Barituni had assumed what had happened to her. It wasn't that hard. A week after the collapse of the Fox's kingdom she runs into a little girl about the age of the missing princess clutching to the pieces of destroyed crown, a blind retard could guess who she was, but with her bounty growing by the day, it was imparitive she get the girl trained quickly. That was what tonight was about.
Barituni took a deep breath, flexing her energy. In a moment the power breaker flipped and the enntire hotel fell into a silent, dark panic. Barituni turned to Shiav but the fox had already vanished into the hotel.
Shiav moved swiftly up and down the dark halls, bounding over people who were left in the hallway confused and disoriented. Her breathing was quick and shallow as to keep from even being heard by those with good hearing. She felt at home in the darkness now. When she was young she had hated it, but now the empty swirl of confusion surrounded her and made her feel at home. The darkness was her's away from anyone and anything that could hurt her. She was locked away in it. "This is your, only yours, no one can touch you, you're safe, you're free, you're alone," She whispered to herself, putting herself in a trance, blocking everything but the darkness from her mind.
Her breath came in sudden and sharp as she was boosted from her darkness. She had just exited the room, knife in had, standing in the hall. She felt confused and lost for a moment, unsure of where she was, or what she had done. She stood, collecting her thoughts and trying to gain her barring, not too sure of anything at the moment.

Sakora locked her eyes onto the demon, realizing it was a woman that was a demon. Her eyes flickered to the knife, perhaps she used it to throw, or perhaps not. Either way, Sakora did not want to find out. Almost in a blinding speed, Sakora was behind her with her arrow probing the woman in the back, sparks of spiritual energy coming from it. She attempted to shoot her as she pulled back the arrow and arched it. Her eyes sparked this white glow from them as she quickly released the arrow to shoot the woman, she then vanished from sight and appeared on the other side of the hallway.
Sakora tried to watch carefully what this woman would do while at the sametime making her attacks quick, she wasn't sure if this attack would kill the femal demon or not.

Shiav was still in her trance, and saw nothing coming. She was finally pulled to the real world bya sharp pain in her back. She collapsed, her hands trying to put pressure on the strike in attempts to relieve some of the pain. Her eyes peiriced through the darkness, staring straight at the woman. She growled under her breath, biting her lower lip in attempts to calm herself, though it wasn't working. Shiav had always been short temped, and it was hard for her to calm down once riled.
She hauled herself to her feet tucking the knife away and reaching in to the holster at her side, slipping a fun out. She took aim in the blinding darkness. She fire off three shots at the woman. Worse had tried to kill her and she had lived through it so far. She would take all injuries needed. She wouldn't loose.
"Something's up it's been a minute and a half," Barituni muttered, looking at the dark entrance of the hotel. Shiav was a newbie, but slow was never something she suffered from. Something was definitely wrong. Barituni wasted no moving into the hotel. She moved in and out of the throngs of confused patrons, she kept having to fluctuate her energy to keep the power out, it was a dificult task that caused her energy to spike up then drop to almost nothing. A confusing thing for anyone homing in on her power would through off her signature. She could make it seem like the homeless man on the street had her power when doing this.
She finely spotted her young trainee and some other woman. Damnit if I have to tell her another time to not pick fights She hissed to herself, taking a step back and tucking herself away until she saw the right moment to attack.

Sakora vanished as swift as possible and reappeared making her way in a fast blur toward the where the nearest electrical socket was. She was facing Shiav with a serious face, while her free hand behind her pulled the cover off and went into the wires. Lightning sparked from Sakora's hand and came to life like crazy as everything lit back up.She quickly bolted out of the way, the electricity and lights remaining on, this time Sakora made sure that if anyone tried to touch the power switches off it would shock them badly.
She began to sense another presence in the hallway with them, but right now Sakora was focused on the woman that was fighting her. This time Sakora short an arrow filled with lightning toward Shiav as fast as possible to where the arrow was a swift blur. She quickly moved fast to where she launched forward at the woman, her hands had a faint glow of spiritual energy coming from it to where if she touched her it would shock any demonic aura about her.
As the arrow closed in Sakora was right behind ready to attack and defend against anything the woman had against her.

Before either of the attacks landing, Barituni was there, she pushed Shiav out of the way of the arrow and ducked in front of the girl, bringing her hand swiftly upward and knocking her in the jaw, sending her flying backwards. She looked at the burn on her hand. "Why the little bitch," She muttered, looking sternly at the girl.
Shiav was on her feet again, ready to attack. "Stand down," Barituni said, examining the burn on her hand. "But Ba-" "I Said stand down!" She hollered. She looked over at the girl. "One, you're attacking the wrong person," She said and with that let her power flare up to about half, which was much more then most of the people who were accustomed to demons had felt, but , then again not many had come into contact with a true Devil. She was a rare and dying breed and not many actually had the pleasure of meeting a creature that was actually born in hell, unlike the dying gene demons that inhabited most area's these days.
After she let her power settle she turned back to Shiav, looked at her a minute, frowing and then dug under the folds of her kimono. "Two, we're liscened," She said, pulling out two laminated plastic cards and tossing them at her feet. None the less, there they were, literally two of Tian Shi Lu's legal assassins.

Utter shock came throughout Sakora's body as her eyes widened and she flew backwards. Her body slammed into the wall and slumped to the floor, she released a slight wince of pain. Slowly, she began to sit up with a deep breath before looking at the two women before her. The taller, much darker woman must've been the one to have hit Sakora and sent her flying backwards. She watched as Barituni pulled out two cards and tossed them at her feet. "Assassins?", Sakora finally managed to say in a calm but confused voice, "You are both assassins?"

"Government Issued curtsy of Tian Shi Lu," She said, looking over her shoulder at Shiav. She was panting her eyes locked on the girl. Her breaths were quick and sharp and her muscles tense. She wanted to keep attacking, wanting to make someone pay for what that woman had done to her famliy. She wanted to keep killing. Barituni would quell that spirit. It was dangerous to have such an individual in the world of Killing. That spite would turn into hatred, and then that hatred into rage, and that would cause her to become a heartless murder, and eventually a rouge.
"Technacly we could kill you for interfering," Shiav said coldly. Barituni knocked Her head. "Ignore the princesses," She said. "Don't want to have to kill you if we don't have to Priestess," She said, putting a little spite into that last word. She wasn't a spitefull person, but priestess had always rubbed her the wrong way. Yeah she was born in hell, she was a killer monster, no need to take care of her for the sake of the humans, though she had yet to meet one that could lay a hand on her yet.

Sakora began to rise to her feet slowly, sighing heavily as she stood up straight as stared at Shiav and Barituni. "If you killed me that would put a dent in you reputations if you have one, I would not like that very much and neither would those that found out about my death", she replied to Shiav in a mellow voice. Despite Sakora being serious and calm, her eyes appeared sad for some reason, even as she stared straight at the two assassins. She nodded to Barituni, "Although I wonder, what are assassins such as yourselves doing here, and making your appearances such a notice at that."
Just how Shiav sounded, Sakora had the feeling that this woman did not like her nor did she care of much on what she had to say. Sakora glanced up at the lights that were now all on, thanks to her electrical surge earlier. With a silent sigh, she walked over to an electrical socket and placed her hand against it before making everything able to be touched without being shocked. Once that was done, she stood up straight and opened the door to her room before glancing at the two women before her once again.

"Well Mrs. Sazuna, we technically have the legalisasion to kill you...well, I do, my trainee here can't do anything that extreme yet, though your right. It would be hell for me, paper work and all that jazz, I'd so much rather be on my way," She patting Shiav's head. The young fox didn't exactly appreciate having her ears messed with the way Barituni had a habbit of doing, but she couldn't help the fact she did it. The woman liked messing with her like she were a pup or something. Shiav tolerated it because Barituni had been so kind to her in taking her in and giving her a place to live, a place to call the home she never had. She was greatful for that, and she wouldn't look her kindness in the eye by snapping at a fond touch.
"Any way sweet heart, we'll be on our way," She said, but when she turned, she bumped into a man clad completely in black. He looked at her sturnly, whispered something in her ear and then vanished. When he spoke Barituni's face contorted with confusion. Shiav paid little attention to what she did, not finding the apperance of Tian Shi Lu's "Grim reapers" that odd. These men and woman in all black were the ones who brought the assignments to the killers, the messengers of death. She had seen them plenty.
Barituni was much less calm, her eyes locking on Sakora. " You here me, correct? She asked, though didn't have time to make sure. " The girl standing before you is Shiav Tahpun, the heir apparent to Catlia. This information is vital, and is to remain a secret. I am going to pull out my weapon and attack her, on the seventh strike I will slip. Take her and run," She spoke to the girl mentally, her hand drifting to the sword at her waist. Without taking a second moment to think, the sword whipped from it's sheath and crashed, blunt side, onto Shiav's shoulder. Shiav immediatly reacted, cursing in Catlian before jumping away.

Sakora appeared confused to Barituni's request, she wasn't sure what this woman's intention was. She was sure she could've handled herself, but since Barituni seemed to be very serious about this situation, Sakora pulled Shiav onto her back and took off running in a blinding speed. Her body was almost invisible as she ran swiftly down the hall and onto the first floor, then outside. The princess was already running toward her home mansion without giving Shiav a chance to speak or react. By the time they reached the mansion, Sakora was already inside the living room where she stopped and placed Shiav down, ordering her cousin Kazumi to help her pull up a spiritual barrier.

Shiav's mind was in a blur. When Sakora put her down she stumbled backwards, falling onto her back before sitting up again. She stared at her surroundings. NO! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! She though desperatly. Not another! Another person she thought she could trust was trying to kill her. What was this? What was happening? She began shaking, completely ignoring her surrounds. She pulled the shattered remains of the crown off her head, looking at in in her hands. She saw them, covered in cuts, blood leaking over her hands, the crown as if it had just been destroyed. "I'm sorry Ji Heden," She whimpered softly, breaking down into tears.

As the barrier was placed all around the Sazuna house, Sakora came out of the kitchen and into the living room where she had left Shiav. As she caught a glimpse of Shiav's expression, Sakora placed a reasurring hand on the demon's shoulder, "Hey, I am sorry if I have caused a problem for you this way, I did not mean to really." Confusion spread across Sakora's face once more when she heard Shiav say something lowly,"Um, sorry, but...who is Ji Heden? It's fine if you don't want to tell me." Her voice sounded gentle and polite, like she was trying to comfort Shiav in a way she would comfort anyone else.

Shiav faltered a little. She pulled herself to her feet. She stood there for a little, arms crossed, staring off. Was she to tell the girl? This one, she was a politician. Barituni had told her so. Could she really be trusted. The lust for power over her people may come up. She attacked her to begin with, she didn't like her already. Telling her who she was might put her in perial...then again, it may have made her a much stronger ally. Shiav looked out across the forest for a moment, touching the shattered piece of crown. "Ji Heden is the late Emperor of Catlia, the one who was recently murdered," She said.

Sakora nodded as she listened to the girl explain, "Alright, so you were apologizing to Ji Heden. That seems confusing a little. Was this person important to you?" She sat down on the couch, crossing her legs as she stared off into space. Right now the entire area was on lock down and there was no way to get out or get inside.
