Negi didn't seem to pay any attention to Chi this time around. THen the bell rang "Class dissmiss."

"Come on Chi, you can sleep on the roof," Carmen said, pulling her out of her chair. "You can say good by to me," She muttered. Carmen sweat dropped. "Chi, I don't think your parents were serious when they said they'd sell you to the slave trade if you flunked out," She said as they left the class room. "...you've met my parents haven't you?" She asked. "Don't worry Chi, I've got guns," Miau said, her grin not helping much.

It was Negi's last class that day, so he packed up his stuff and left the school building, heading out of campus.

Mrs. Ho caught him at the gate. "You have a meeting with the Principal and Mr. and Mrs. Koren," She said.

Negi sweat dropped "Oh come on Ho, just let me leave will ya?" he asked, then sighed "Fine fine..." he said, going to the principals office. He didn't even knock on the door, he just opened it and walked it.

The principal didn't even look up from her work, as if she was pretending none of them were there. Mr. and Mrs. Koren were standing to the side of her desk. They were finally dressed, obviously very rich, and always in the spot light. Mrs. Koren smiled warmly. It seemed impossible that these two were the parents that Chi was so afraid of. "Hello, You must be Mr. Higa," She said. She spoke kindly. Chi was obviously her daughter because they looked and sounded identical, only her mother was, of course, older.

Negi looked at Mrs.Koren 'Creepy.' He immidietly took the hadn with the glove out of his pocket, just incase "Yah...thats me, Negi Higa." he said, You wanted to speak to me about something?" he asked

"We just like to meet all our daughters teachers, and when we heard her Magics teacher was retiring, we thought we should introduce ourselves to his replacement," Her father said.

Negi looked at the guy "Cool I guess....can I go now?" he asked "If you wanna find out anything about me Im pretty sure you can just do a background check in the school files, they pretty much dug up every single detail about me."

Negi blinked, looking at the envelope. He couldn't help but chuckle "Oh you've gotta be shittin me." he said, opening the envelope, checking the contents.

Inside was a check with quite a few zeros on the end. "We just don't think teachers are shown the proper appreciation," She said.

Negi sighed, putting the check back into the envelope. Closing it, and then, it just burst into flames, turning into ash within five seconds "And I don't think you're heads screwed on right." He said.

"I think by 'hand outs' you mean 'bribes.'" he said. "You can smile like an angel all you want, but you think by just giving away a few million will get you anything you want...you're a class A example of 'money going to you're head'....or rather 'money replacing you're brain' " He said, he was laying heavy on the insults "I'm not gonna take any bribes, and Im not gonna give false grades, if Chi fails, she fails."
