Class had already started, and since the teacher hadn't been paying attention most of the kids started doing their own thing. Miau and Carmen were, of course, not in class since they had no reason to go now. Chi had decided to close her eyes for a minute, since she had stayed up all night trying to perfect the no hands thing, thinking she might have impressed Negi into helping her again. That was a dud.

"Oi." Negi called, slamming his hand on the table loud, getting everyones attetnion "Stop screwing around and present you're homework." he said sternly.

Chi blinked, then freaked, searching her bag like mad. "Oh no Oh no," She muttered. She never forgot her homework.

Carly nodded, starting to check off that the students had done their homework. Chi was turning over papers back and forth, like it was on one side and she was just missing it.

"Uh-huh, I've heard that one before" he said, pulling out the grade book, writting something in "F." He said, and walked away, checking the other students.

Negi just continued to check everyones homework "Well, looks like the only one who didn't do their homework, plus gave a bonus of a lame excuse is Chiseron, way to go." he said, just to embeerass her. He walked back to his desk, and started teaching the students more new spells, every single day he tought them new spells. He never gave them time to get good at it, he always said 'Its you're choice on what to focus on, not mine'

Carly sat in the corner grading the homework.
Chi was struggling with the lesson as always, but she was more determined then ever.

Negi was teaching a very complicated defense spell "Now, its advisable for begginers to use a partner to make this spell work, meaning two people, though theres a catch, the way its done alone, and the way its done with two people are very different" he said. From his explanation it most likely made little sense what he meant, and unless someone was gonna ask, he wasnt gonna give an example

Negi sighed "Fine" He said, holding out his hand. Some sort of markings appeared around his hand, forming a glowing sphere "This is how you do it by youreself, you need a lot of concentration, and a lot of energy" he said, the ball seemed to grow larger and it spread around Negi, then dissapeared. He then took a pen, and threw it up, once it started falling, istead of hitting Negi in the head, it bounced off when there was 2 feet left between it and his head.
He then looked at Carly "Carly, can ya lend me a hand here?" he asked

She looked up, placing the papers down. "Oh, of course," She said, standing up and walking over.
