Negi looked at Chi "Come on, he's an old coot" he said "And besides, even if by chance I somehow by a miracle lose, hes not gonna kill me, he himself said I'll have to leave, and I couldnt exactly leave if I was a corpse" he said, and patted her head "Don't worry" he said

"Alright lets move away from the big bad fighting," Miau said, pulling Chi away. "Don't do anything stupid," Chi said softly, before leaving with Miau.
"Ahh, sweet girl, reminds me of my granddaughter. Do feel bad about her getting dragged into it last time. Oh well, alright let's get a move on," he said, jumping up onto the roof.

"Eh? Letting me go first?" he asked "Well...alright" He said, and put his hand on the ground "Ras tel ma scir magister" he muttered, his hand started glowing, and the cloth flew right off, though only enough, things didn't start going to hell. The entire roof was covered in some sort of bright white markings, the markings going right up to Negi's elbow on his right arm. He was using the entire school building as conductor, so he can actualy contorl his power.

Arh looked down. "Hmm well that seems to be a lot of power. This may turn out to be quite the fight," He said, looking at the markings on the roof then up to Negi.

When the old man looked up, Negi was right infront of him, his hand frozen in an extremely sharp block of ice, pointing the thing right at his neck "I'm going serious here, so don't let you're guard down." He said, the ice suddenly dissapearing, and Negi jumped back.

The wind caught the ice pushing it off it's target, at the same time Arh moved away from the shot. He lunged forward, striking Negi in the jaw.

Negi quickly moved out of the way "What the hell??" He asked, kicking the guy right in the butt, leaaving a boot print as he jumped away. The kick was more of a comical kick than an offensive one "Hey, you're supposed to be strong magic guy right? Why are you trying to go close quarters?" he asked
