Chaya twinged, staring at the ground, tears welling up in her eyes. "Thats exactly it. He doesn't care," She said softly. "I'm nothing to him, I'm just there, a standard for comparison. 'I've got this, I wonder if I can find anything better'. He doesn't care if I stay or go...He is no better then my father, being faithful means nothing if he leaves the moment something better walks by..." She cried, turning away from Kiske, he having made his decision for her.

Kiske sighed "Now...don't go saying that...yes he would leave you if he found someone better...but thing is he's not out searching for someone better, and he protected you from harm countless times...that at least means something" he said, then sighed "Just...don't beat youreself up over it"

Chaya went into town, not directly to Sol. She sat on a bench in front of a store, knees to her chest, hugging herself, ignoring the fact people were giving her weird looks.

Chaya noticed him, walk in front of her, but she didn't say anything. He wont notice me She thought, watching him pass in front of her.

She looked away from him, not answering. This definitely wasn't Chaya. She'd never acted like this, she'd never once in her life been so distant, so sealed off. When things were at the worst she always seemed to be smiling anyways.

Sol frowned "Oi, whats the matter?" He asked, walking over to her, crouching down a bit so they were on the same eye level "Why ya being all silent?"

"It's over Sol, you and me," She said, not making eye contact. She had a whole grand speech playing over and over in her head, but he didn't care. Her words would mean nothing to him.

So he does want to hear She thought. "I just...I can't stand just being a standard for comparison. You're selfish Sol, and brutal...you and I both know...if someone better came along, you'd leave me...You're just...so much like my father," She said. "I don't want to be hurt like my mother was."

Whack. He gently whacked her upside the head "Oi, least dont compare me to that guy" he said "Ya I would have left ya if someone better came along, yah Im selfish, but Im not one to knock up a girl, then marry her, and while married still sleep with other women" He said "If anything Im the less of a prick version then" he said and shruged "Well, was fun while it lasted" he said and patted her head "See ya" He turned to leave "Oh right...you'll be staying at Kiske's place right?...Cuz so far you're only home has been my house" he said

Chaya was staring at the ground, biting back sobs. He really didn't care. "I'll get an apartment," She said, standing up and leaving as quick as she could. She couldn't stand how little he cared. She really was just nothing to him. "Fun time...that's all..." She muttered, and then took off running through the streets

When Chaya came to her home, Inaya was having the i told you so of her life, though it was mostly directed at Kiske. This is why she was against it from the beginning. She already knew everything Chaya was just coming to realize. Sol had his good moments, but they far from made up for the bad.
