Nata's Journal
Today was a day like every other, as usual more children were brought. Crying and screaming, barely even three years old, some even too young to walk by themselves. All I could do is just stand and wait, watching as the nurses take the little ones away to calm them. Though amongst the mass of little children, I noticed someone out of place.
A girl, I think she was around nine years of age, but she wasnt scared, shaking or crying like he rest. She was just standing there, staring out into space as if she were asleep. I adressed the soldiers, asking as to why they took someone much older than the 'age limit' that was given to them. No children over the age of three. When they told me that they just found her laying in a box I was confused. She was covered in dried blood, obviously having been coverd in it for a good while, as the blood had turned black, and crusty like it was burnt.
I had argued that we cannot take her, for is she well above the age limit. The soldier seemed to get angry, saying that ether we take her or they just leave her there. I couldn't reason with that walking tree stump, so in the end, I was forced to call Thia, the principal of this institute. Usualy I would rather avoid confrontation with her. That womans greed only brings about problems.
When she saw the girl, she seemed to see something in her, and decided to accept her into the institute. Although I strongly disagreed, in the end, I am but a teacher, so my oppinion is forfeit. Though before I could take my leave and retire to my quarters, Thia put me in charge of taking care of the girl. I could see where her reasons come from. She was unresponsive to her surroundings, and we didnt know if she was mentaly stable. Putting her with the nurses would be like welcoming a costly slaughter if she were to be actualy dangerious...
So now I am incharge of looking after this child...I cannot see anything good comming from this.
