Vincent gripped the hilt tighter "You're getting on my nerves..." He muttered. He moved the sword a bit so the tip was right infront of his eye. The sword shone a bright light, and suddenly exploded, giving off a light ghust of wind for Vincent and Koi, but for Lor it would have been more like he was hit in the face by a rock from a catapult. "Leave. Now."

Koi gasped a little, jumping back and covering her mouth, watching Vincent attack the stranger for what seemed like no reason in her mind, but then again she didn't stop him. Vincent never said when he was acting like this. He just did things, and never told her why. Lor stumbled back, covering his eye, red blood seeping out through the cracks of his fingers. He let out a small annoyed sigh, "I guess you are," He said, answering his own question. "A water child," He muttered, still seeming to have no intentions in leaving.

'Not scared in the least...Can't kill this one it seems...' "Koi, cover your eyes." he said, stepping forward, towards Lor "You ether turn around and run. Or I'm going to make this a very unpleasant day for you." He said, Vincent wasn't acting like this because he felt confident. It was because he felt threatened, plus he had grown quite fond of that little blue haired kitty, he didn't want her getting hurt. So naturaly, he was being protective "This is your last warning. Leave now or leave in pieces."

Koi covered her eyes, but of course peeked through her fingers. She'd really never seen Vincent so agressive. Normally he was very smily and joky, though it was hard to understand him sometimes, he normally seemed like he was in a good mood. Lor finally turned his head to Vincent, almost as if he just now figured out he was there. He straightened a bit, more then a foot taller then the other man. He glanced at the sword, then at Vincent. "I wouldn't suggest that," he said, though he was actually a bit confused. The man was obviously a magic user, but most didn't last long around him.

"Really?" he asked, and his sword suddenly shot from his hand, stabbing right through Lor's heart. Sure that wouldn't kill him, Vincent was just trying to cause enough pain to make him go away "Will you go or do I need to burn you inside-out?" he asked, his sword starting to sort of sizzle in the wound, burning him.

Koi gasped and let out a small cry, crouching down and covering her face completely, no scared after having seen Vincent just kill someone, or so she thought. Lor looked down at the sword and hissed a bit, slowly pulling it out and tossing it to the ground, blood seeping down the already blood stained robes. "I see," He said, turning around, but glanced over his shoulder. "That's an interesting child," He said, having taken intrest in her. Koi was confused, she opened her eyes again, and looked at Lor, and then at Vincent. "I..." She thought he was killed.

Though as soon as the sword hit the ground it seemed to bounce back into Vincents hand "Do I need to poke a hole in your head for you to understand that I want you gone?" Vincent snapped, quite irritated that he was hesitating to leave. Once he did leave though, Vincent sighed and looked at Koi. He patted her head "I think we should head home for today"

Koi watched the strange cat just walk away as if there were nothing wrong with him. "I don't get it? Shouldn't he be really hurt?" She asked. "Your sword went straight through him. You stabbed him but he looks fine!?" She exclaimed, just utterly confused.

Vincent sighed "I guess I need to explain a few things to you....lets go back to the river first." he said, gently pushing on her back, making her walk with him. Once they were at the river again, Vincent sat down infront of Koi "Basically, that person we just encountered was an immortal"

Koi looked down at him, confused, and plopped down in front of him, looking up at him. "Immortal?" She asked, confused of the world. "So they live for a long time?" She asked. She realy had no grasp of the word, because immortality wasn't a common concept among cats, most of them were very hard set on the subjects of life and death.

Vincent shook his head "No. They live forever. They cannot die." He said "Even if you cut then up, blow them up,s tab them, burn them, their bodies will just regenerate. Like say if I had lobbed off that mans arm, it would have just re-attached itself." He said. "And he isn't really anyone special. Anyone can become an immortal. It just takes years upon years of dedicated studyng of magic"

Koi was silent for a moment. "Then...why isn't everyone immortal if anyone can do it? Why would people want to get old and die?" She asked, looking up at him as she sought out her answers. Though that did explain how the man just walked off as if there was nothing wrong with hime, because there was nothing wrong with him.

"Well....because some think its wrong, thinking that life and death shouldn't be played with. That one is meant to die. Others are detered by the sheer amount of effort it takes to be able to reach immortality. And some...well. Some just can't do it to begin with, because they lack the talent"

"Could you do it? If you wanted to?" She asked, staring up at him. They hadn't been together long, only a few years. She had noticed She seemed to get bigger and he didn't, but he was already old, so that was supposed to happen, right?

Vincent just smiled "Koi, I've already done it. I'm well over 10 000 years old" he said, pretty sure that would have answered her question
