Irene stood up and bowed her bead a bit. "Very well, then we shall meet again on the given date," She said, and turned to head back to her home, her mother and her guard on her tail as she left. The guard looking glad to finally be out of that security nightmare. Irene was quick to get home though, she wanted to see her brother again.

After Amir had gotten home though he hadn't done much at all. He didn't bother any of the maids, he didn't go looking for pitty, he didn't even sulk in his room. He was kinda just, there. Just blending in with the background. Though he stayed in his room mostly, laying on the bed, bored stiff, reading a book...or at least trying too "Gaah...how can someone actualy like this..." He muttered, clenching his eyes shut, his eyes already hurting after reading one page.

When Irene got home she went immediately to his room. She knew he'd be there when she didn't here any maids complaining. She walked in, closing the door behind her. "Why did you leave so suddenly?" She asked. She was actually quite upset by that. It was hard to go through with that on her own.

"Hmm? Oh, well, I was pretty sure I would have done something stupid, so I split." He said, turning back to the book "...Gah, forget this." he said, and threw it back onto the pile "How can anyone find those things intresting..." he muttered, and then looked at her. He didn't look like he was depressed, but he was lacking his grin. He just had a normal look on his face, not a smile, not a frown, just normal.

Well for him, that wasn't normal. "I'm pissed you left." She said quite bluntly, crossing her arms over her chest. No fancy words, no dancing around the subject. "I didn't want to have to do that alone, thanks alot," She said, leaning on the door, arms crossed over her chest.

Amir sweat dropped "Well...uhm...sorry?" He asked "Ya weren't alone, ya had mom with ya...and isn't the daughter supposed to go to her mother when it comes to things like boys...or unwilling marriages?" he asked, shrugging. Though again he didn't smile, he just laid down on the bed and yawned "Anyway, I'm tired after trying to read, so if you could just make yourself scarse..."

Irene's lips pinched tight and she pulled her arms closer to her. He was being such an ass about this! It wasn't like she wanted to! He was just making it all the more difficult for her. "Fine," She spat out, and left, slamming the door behind her, causing the room to rock, and a vase that was near the door to fall over. Anyone in that hall could her her pounding down away from his room.

Amir just sighed, staring up at the cieling "Why couldn't I just tell you to shove it when it mattered...you would have given up after some yelling..." he muttered, and closed his eyes. I was really pointless to think about it anymore...but he couldn't help it. First he screws up in preventing this, and now he wasn't doing anything to help her. Though really, how could he help her do something that she herself doesnt want to?

The days passed quietly, but slowly. Irene was scarce, preparing to take over for her mother. The day came when Alidaster said he'd arrive, and Irene seemed more on edge then ever, and people were doing there best to avoid her, everyone chalked it up to nerves, but they were curious as to where the prince was. After all, everyone expected her to announce him as she mate, so it was expected he'd be there doing something.

Amir just stayed in his room most of the time, he went for random walks some time, just idly passing around the halls of the castle. He had no contact with his sister unfortunetly. Though as Irene was walking through the hallways, someone suddenly dropped down infront of her "Hey pretty red lady!" Kazel yelled, having snuck into the castle.

"Holy-" Irene jumped back, catching her breath. "What are you doing here?" She asked. He was the more harmless seeming of the Human royals, but then again she had snuck into the palace some how and she hadn't seen him. She fixed her posture so she wasn't so tense. "Where are the others?" She asked, assuming they must've been on their way.

"Their on their way, I was gonna be ditched again, soooo I decided to dome here myself...for some reason those coaches move reaaaaalllyy slow." he said, grinning "So how ya feeling? Any better from last time I saw ya?" he asked, he wasn't really surprised she was reacting more or less normaly to him. After all, he was loveable, how could you freak out about him somehow making it into the pallace without being seen?

"...how long have you been in here?" She asked, heading back down towards the main hall. She knew he was much more like their kind then like the demons, and from what she could tell he was more or less innocent, an adopted son, so he was really of no affiliation to them. Though it wouldn't hurt to be near the guards none the less.

"Erm...two minutes." He said, holding up two fingers, two on each hand. He grinned, walking next to her, though then looked like he remembered something "Oh yeah, almost forgot, you should be careful." He said "Alidasters planning something very mean again...what exactly I don't know...but he's got something else than peace on his brain, all through the meeting a week ago, he had this look in his eyes whenever he spoke to you, like he was saying "Yeah, laugh it up. You're the one with the knife in your throat."" he said, badly imitating his voice

Irene looked at him, stopping when she spoke, Damnit...I...I thought this was actually going to work..." She thought. Now that was a big bit of news she thought maybe he ACTUALLY wanted peace, but now she was throwing herself into the lions den with no means of hope. Was this marriage really a good idea. She still had time. Two days. "Thank you for informing me...ah..." She looked at him, no knowing his name,
