"I see your numbers have lessened once again...did the youngest one get a heart attack?" Alidaster said, again mocking the family for their losses. "Huu...He left early this morning..." Kazel said, having managed to be let in, he was sitting next to Kaida, his head on the table, he looked pretty depressed himself "He looked so sad that he even got me depressed...." He said, pouting. Alidaster shook his head "Ether way, I assume you've reached a decision?" He asked

"My brother was feeling ill," Irene said smoothly. She really wasn't used to having to mask any sort of emotion. That was frowned upon in her society, hiding feelings from people, but in this case it was a little different. After all she was going to have to play by human rules now, and they were always a little different. Kaida looked at Kazel, then to the seat where the other prince had been sitting. She was still tense. "I have. I feel that the joining of our countries would be much more mutually beneficial then a simple alliance," She said.

Alidaster sighed "So that was a waste of time..." he muttered, but then nodded "Indeed it would...assuming you are willing to adapt to our ways...we are not too fond of your rather...unwashed and vulgar ways." he said, he wasn't completely ignorant about the demons, he had done quite a bit of research, and quite a few of the things they do would be deemed 'inapropriot'

"In your court I will act as is appropriate of your mate," She answered. "But you must in return realize that there will also be things expected of you in my court that you are unwilling to do in yours," She said. They were two very different worlds, but she was hoping if the two of them could over come it, maybe their people could too, and they'd finally have peace.

"It all really depends...I expect you to tone down your more...questionable ways at least while I am visiting. I do not expect you to completely accept our ways, you should not expect me to completely accept yours ether." he said, again he didn't really care for the peace, give a few years for the people of his city to calm down, and then crush the demons. That was his plan.

"Questionable ways?" She asked skeptically. She never looked at any of her ways as really questionable. After all it seemed like everyone in the human court was just more tight assed then they needed to be, like they didn't know how to be themselves. Irene was ignorant to his plans though, she thought the Humans actually wanted peace as well.

"For example the dancers you people have during times of festivity...for civilians to have them at their celebrations is one thing...but in a court room...if ever a time arises that I am visiting during one of these festive days...could you please not have your women walking around dressed like courtesans?"

Both her and her mother snickered at the comment. He just assured the rumor that human men knew nothing about the world of sensual pleasure. "If I must I can have them...watch...their costumes, but dancers gowns have been around longer then human's have been in existence, they're not exactly going to change," She said, finding that whole remark funny.

Alidaster just sighed "Its odd how you've been around longer than we have and yet you are the uncivilzed ones. Having your women strut around in revealing clothing is nothing short of disgusting. In the privacy of ones home one can do whatever they please. But one should mind their manners and their clothing when in the public eye." he said, quite annoyed at their snickering.

Neither of the woman found it insulting, just humerus. "I'm sure that's the way you see it," She said in return. "Enough of this, onto logistics, my coronation ceremony is in exactly a week, and there is where I'm expected to announce my mate. I don't know how humans do this, but we have no ceremony for such, we just choose," She said. There was no wedding, no big party, she just announced him to her people at the end of her crowning.

Alidaster sighed "We on the other hand do have a ceremony for this. Its called a wedding. It is a ceremony that binds two people together untill death seperates them. Though then again I am not surprised you have such a simplistic way of announcing your mates." he said, too annoyed to really even think of a way to insult them anymore.

Irene seemed to find his annoyance more amusing then insulting, and the fact his family all seemed struck silent by the entire endevour was funny, though she was simply trying to get her thoughts away from her brother and sister, by closing off her mind to anything negative. "Well I'm sure I'll need to be 'educated' in your way of mating, and all the ceremonies that come with them" She said. "Obviously you must do SOMETHING to reproduce, though I don't know what you call it, it can't be enjoyable," She said.

Alidaster just rubbed his temple "I swear its like talking to a little girl who's grown up in the woods..." He mutterd, just simply tired now "This is getting redicolous..." he said, about to lose his nerve with the two. Kazel looked at Irene, his head still on the table "...." He blinked, and then turned to Alidaster "She's sad, and trying to be cheerful...give her a break." He said "Ya two agreed to marry right?....At least it sounded like it? Can't we just go home and send letters whenever you decide when who's going where and whats happening where?" he asked

Irene looked curiously to Kazel. She hadn't noticed him before. The youngest girl, who was relieved to not be getting married to a demon, held her her finger to her lips to shush him because she didn't want him getting in trouble. She seemed to tuck back a bit of the attitude. "Well... my corination is in a week exactly, you will need to be there some time before that, we can discuss further matters of ceremonies and such then," She said.

Kazel did the same to Kaida "You shush too loud!" he whispered to her. Alidaster sighed "We will come two days prior to the corination. We will discuss the matter then." he said, and then looked around "Well then, if we are done, shall we be returning to our respective homes?" He asked
